What kind of clothing is good for ohio in the spring?? |
Travel Info should i wear jeans, capris, long sleeve shirts, short sleeve, no sleeve, sandals, boots Travel Tips The weather can be very different on a day to day basis in Ohio during the spring. In fact the temperature can even change significantly during the day. Its probably wise to wear longer pants - jeans or capris and then layer your tops. A blouse, light sweater or sweater vest, and a light blazer or jacket should keep you prepared. It wouldn't hurt to pack some polos either just in case its a little warm. Its been warming up lately and i think the coldest of the cold days in Spring are over. Also be sure to pack a small umbrella in your purse in case it rains. If you will be doing a lot of city walking I wouldn't recommend sandals, just because of the puddles of dirty water there may be if it had just rained. Others The weather can go from very warm to snow...I'd cover all your bases and be prepared for anything. Seriously. well cleveland is closer to the water than I am in Columbus..but in Columbus in the spring it can be really warm so I mostly wear capris and short sleeves, I don't do the no sleeve--but it get hot enough for it...and for sure sandals. For sure no boots. However it does rain a lot in the beginning of spring so be prepared for that. In Cleveland being closer to the water it may be windy and warm. Let's see, it was warmer than usual for Christmas and we had snow on Easter - that's Cleveland... lets see, a snow parka, short sleeves, sandals, wool hat, long sleeves, tee shirt, mini skirt, cordorows, bikini, snow shoes, baseball cap and a wife-beater. Take a couple of each of these and you should be ok. The weather in Cleveland can change from one moment to the next. Being right on the Lake, I would take some warm and some cool and some outfits for very warm weather. You really never know about Cleveland. God bless**** The rule of thumb for Ohio weather is dress in layers. It can go from 20 degrees to 75 and back to 20 in 24 hours. |
