Travel Info If I were to visit Cleveland in July, what would I want to accomplish? Travel Tips Getting out ASAP Did you hear about the contest that a company was having? First prize was a week in Cleveland. Second prize was 2 weeks in Cleveland. Others Visit nearby Akron, "Tire Recapping Capitol of the Upper Ohio River Valley". Okay, so I don't have a real answer either. We are not mind readers. 'kay, I'll give you the standard answers: Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, the Science Center (right next door), the Natural History Museum, the Zoo But, here are some cool, off the beaten path ideas: Rent a bike and take the towpath through the beautiful Metroparks - or have a picnic there. See what's playing at Playhouse Square for an awesome theater experience Go to Tower City and take the Terminal Tower to the top of the building Hang out in the Tremont area at night. Awesome, trendy nightlife Go to the Auto Rama Drive In on a Friday or Saturday night (North Olmstead, OH...20 minutes away) Visit the West Side Market for the BEST and Freshest food you've had The Art Museum is actually a must see....although...it may be under renovation. I would check their website. They used to have lovely evening jazz. The Botanical Gardens are pretty awesome too! There is TONS of things to do, and the other people writing about how baaaddd Cleveland is obviously have never lived there. Lived there my whole life The 4th of July fireworks display at Edgewater Park! Definately can't miss it! |
