Are there any gay friendly state parks in Cleveland and/or nearby? |
Travel Info Are there any gay friendly state parks in Cleveland and/or nearby? Travel Tips Unless you are a totally open "freak", no one will care about your orientation at any state park. Just go and have a good time, and use common sense in public. Others i agree- i believe as long as you abide by exposure laws, etc, there is no such thing as a legally anti-gay state park...you may want to contact gay/lesbian organizations in cleveland that could be more specific-esp. if you are looking for a gay/bisexual event? Interesting question. All I know is that Lakewood has a lot of Gay bars. They are an openly gay town. Gay Friendly Cleveland is an oxymoron. What do you want to do in the park. You're not one of those Louvre lurkers, are you? They should all be non-discrimatory places that are open to all the public. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is really here to preseve and educate people. You shouldn't really need to worry about them. Most people are pretty accepting, so you shouldn't have a problem. The closest park to Cleveland would be the Cleveland Lakefront State Park. There is also Tinkers Creek in Streetsboro. http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/parks/parks/c... |
