Travel Tips it's literally adjacent to downtown....it's on university circle...mayfield rd, which starts in university circle, is the basis of little italy.. maybe a 10 minute drive from the heart of downtown- i drive thru it every day on my way home from work. try: guarino's! mama santa's-best pizza in cleveland corbo's bakery- they fill cannolis while you wait. excellent excursion from downtown-just head to univ. circle- carnegie, chester, and euclid will take you right there...i believe mayfield is rt. 322! Others It's about twenty minutes. If you are driving, from Public Sqare take Euclid Ave East (20), then make a right turn onto Mayfield Rd (322). That'll take you right in the heart of Little Italy. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=... About 4.5 miles east. Driving it will take you 20 minutes during rush hour, but maybe 10 or less minutes at off peak hours. Take Chester Ave (US 322) east from downtown, which leads you right to Mayfield Rd (also US 322), which is the heart of Little Italy. Avoid Euclid Avenue (US 20) at all costs, as it is a nightmare due to construction. Me. I live and work right here. |
