Other atttractions in the Sandusky, OH area besides Cedar Point? |
Travel Info I am taking a small weekend trip Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, and will definately be visiting Cedar Point, but does anyone recommend any other fun things to do? I like to mini-golf, go shopping, out to eat, things of that nature. Any recommendations? Travel Tips There is a lot of shopping in the area between the turnpike and Cedar Point. Plenty of good restaurants. You will also find mini-gold and go-kart racetrack. They used to have a wave pool downtown Sandusky also that is a lot of fun. If you have time take a day trip to the islands. If everyone in your party is over 21 Put-in-bay island has some great bars. If you are traveling with minors then I would go to Kelly's island. But to get around the islands be prepared to rent bikes or a golf cart. Have a great time! I lived there in the 80's and still have family in the area. If you're 21 or older, it's a real good time! isn't there a kalahari resort there now? sort of water--park plus hotel and restaurants...sounds worth checking out... |
