Puerta del Sol, The Prado, The Queen Sofia Museum, La Castellana, Las Ventas... Madrid is full of interesting places, get on one of those turist buses and you'll be able to see most of the town. The architecure is increidble, the art too, but specially I recomend the food! There's a lot of nice and cheap restaurants that will be a true blessing.
