I'm moving to Madrid in six weeks. How should I spend my ocio when I get there?

Travel Info
I'm particularly interested in practicing Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu; meeting native Spaniards for conversation and acculturization; meeting other English, French or Spanish-speaking extranjeros; dancing (ballroom, flamenco, etc.); and learning more about Spanish food, art, architecture & literature. Can you recommend a dojo, restaurant, favorite hangout?

Travel Tips
Dojo i can't. In puerta del sol, walk south where all the Tapas bars are at. goto plaza de santa ana.... good bars/restaurants there. really.... there are great restaurants everywhere in madrid. Just talk to people.... Madridlenos are very kind people. don't be shy. Nice meeting places are puerta del sol and then walking short distances to the tapa bars etc..... geez i'm sorry but i cannot limit Madrid... almost all of the city is awesome!
