Travel Info
Is it true that there are palm trees in Southern Ireland?

Travel Tips
There are palm trees pretty much all over Ireland - particularly the coastal regions. The main variety are Cordyline Australis palms (or Cabbage Trees), which were originally introduced into gardens from more tropical climates, but have found the climate of Ireland to be much to their taste. Usually, Cordylines are to be found in many gardens in Ireland. Source(s): http://www.gardens.utvinternet.com/garde...

Absolutely. There are palm trees as far north as Dublin.
If there is there's none in County Meath, they are a bit hard to miss as they'd stick out a mile and I've never come across any.
You've gotta be joking me.
