What are the steps to take to move to a different country?

Travel Info
We want to look into moving to Ireland from the U.S. Any help would be appriciated. Along with any important information we should know about living there. Thank You Very Much!

Travel Tips
Hi i'm Scottish and now live in Greece for 15 years, but to make the move and be %100 you have to go there for a week or so and learn about the place and its people you wont have a problem with the language like I did, but it will give you a chance to look at work prospects and living conditions including prices do this and you wont go wrong, good luck because with so many opportunities around the world its a shame to waste time- go for it, who knows you might enjoy it but atleast you will know first hand cause every opinion you take from the net you will get confused. Bon Voyage and any other help you need contact me at yahoo geotelford@yahoo.com

Others
If you can get a job there first, (possibly by transferring within a company that already has offices there) you can get in on a work permit. There are lots of businesses in and around Dublin, also in Galway and Cork. Most of the apartments here are furnished already, everyone seems to want to buy property rather than rent, but the prices are steep.
