Travel Info Travelling with 2 adults and 2 children. Prices? Self-catering facilities? Travel Tips The Roachestown Park is a lovely hotel, set in it's own grounds near Douglas on the outskirts of the city. It's a 4* hotel so the accommodation is good and the staff are excellent. There is a reasonable restaurant on site and you can also eat in the bar if you just want a snack. Others Isaac's on MacCurtain street is lovely and right in the middle of Cork City (it's also above one of the nicest restaurants in Cork). Follow the River along. Pass the first Bridge and cross over the second bridge to the right - Christy Ring Bridge - opposite the Opera House, and turn left.
