Travel Info Tell me about the city of Cork Ireland, its people and foods? Travel Tips well, corkonians (as they are unforntuntely seriously called....) are great craic. they don't so much talk as sing due to a very bouncy accent. they do talk quite fast and some can be a bit sly (but then there's always some.) english is the main language, though sometimes it's hard to tell, what with the singing and all.... the food is pretty much what you'd expect to get anyway in ireland. stews, steaks, etc. and probably some arty farty stuff because apparentlly someone decided to call it the cultural capital of ireland. fun place to go. while you're around the area check out cobh, last stop of the titanic, kinsale town, and well the blarney stones' there too (but don't kiss it!! quite unhygenic!!) good place overall. Others The city of Cork is cool, the food is nice, the people are lovely...... but I can never understand a word they are saying.
