Do i need a passport to get into southern ireland?

Travel Tips
depends on where you're coming from, in general it's no bother to get in here, especially fom London. i'd bring my passport anyway though.

Others
no i flew from heathrow london to cork with just a driving licence, that was about 4 months ago it might of changed though
If you are in the UK then no - its classed as a domestic flight

To anyone that says you do can you read?:

"UK citizens do not require a passport or visa to enter Ireland"

http://www.expedia.co.uk/daily/wg/p41637...
This is because of an old law that was never removed which dates back to when Ireland was part of the Commonwealth
From the UK-yes.
