What does a single room mean when reserving a hotel room? |
Travel Info I want to reserve a hotel room and a single is the cheapest? What is that? Is that for one person, or could me and my daughter stay in a single room? Travel Tips A single room is meant for one person. Some hotel let you bring your daughter, but some will give you additional charge. Even those who let you have your daughter stay for free, they won't let her have the complimentary breakfast (if the room comes with breakfast). Others A single room usually has just one double bed...so you and your daughter could share a bed. A single room would be for one person, but they usually have one double bed. It would be a matter of the hotel allowing more than one person to stay in it. Modified 1 year ago I think it is probably a room with only one bed. It might be smaller and the bathroom is probably smaller. I don't know but that just makes sense. It actually depends, and varies from different hotels. a single room is a smaller room with one bed, and you probably can have two people sleep in one bad. but i think its best to go with a single room just because its cheap, all that matters is if u could sleep, shower, and relax i guess LOL hotels usually use 3 typical descriptions for rooms Single = A room with just one single sized bed (for one person) Twin = A room with 2 single sized beds (2 people in seperate single beds) double = one double size bed (one large bed for 2 people) |
