Where can i find a swank hotel in costa rica that isn't overrun with tourists and is pretty remote? |
Travel Info I want to find some good destinations in costa rica that aren't overly cheesy or over run with tourists. Unique and memorable, not busy and pre-fab. Travel Tips I wouldn't use the word "swank" and not expect tourists and ever more important a fun and memorable international experience. There is a place I can highly recommend that is terrific and I love to go to. It鈥檚 in Quepos/Manuel Antonio on the Pacific coast. It鈥檚 call Mono Azul (Blue Monkey) and is great! It is owned and operated by an American couple who have lived in Costa Rica for nearly two decades. The rooms are very comfortable and the grounds are nicely kept. The bar and restaurant serve great fares, and the guests there are great as well. If you decided to book there, tell Chip and Susan from Seattle sent you!
