What are some nonverbal behaviors of Costa Ricans?

Travel Tips
I dont know what eactly do you mean about this question.
Costa Rican are very much alike to americans, specially the upper class level. The farmers, countryside people and lower class, are characterized by their shyness, but they are very helpful persons, also, something the upper class is not.
You must be careful nearby the costaricans that look like hip hopers, they usually belong to certain parts of the city of San Jose, in which the poverty has raised high levels, thats why usually thats the dress code for burglars.

Anything else I would like to help.

Nonverbal.... well, let's see: A smile! Missing the bus at the bus stop, watching it drive away in front of your eyes, causes no problems.... another will be along shortly.... they just WAIT. The need to be next.... always.... Small country, tiny narrow roads.... everyone passes, just to be next. Once you get to town, there is no chance so passing is nonverbal and constant. An offer of food when they can't speak your language but they want to share. A look of confusion when you scream (something they are not use to hearing.) Extreme happiness on election day....... before and after.... its refreshing!
