Want to move to puerto viejo, costa rica..read details?

Travel Info
my family and my friend's family want to move to costa rica. we decided to try for 3 months this summer and see how it goes. Is there a way to find houses to rent at local prices, and not at these tourist prices of 1000$ per month. thank you in advance

Travel Tips
the best is to involve with the surrounding people, ask, ask, ask, ask and ask, in 3 months you will have enough information. if you want more information go to the source and ask for Francisco Source(s): http://www.costaricainfo.com

Other Travel Tips
You've just got to do some research. Call around to compare...and don't mention that you're a "tourist."

Once you've got the numbers, you can negotiate for a better rate.

go down and mix in with the locals of the community you are trying to move to and they will point you in the right direction if they like you. if they dont like you thenyou dont belong its there country. pura vida
