How do I see Costa Rica inexpensively? |
Travel Info I want to go to Costa Rica and see it all in 10 days. any suggestions Travel Tips You can and you will! Spend a little extra money and get a good and reliable rental car at the airport. leave immediately traveling north to see the national parks and the penninsula on the Pacific side (2-3 days). proceed south along the Pacific coast stopping to see what interests you the most (2 days). procceed inland to the east about half way down the coast returning to San Jose for one night (2-days). Take off east to the Caribbean coast for a quick trip there (2-days). Return and spend the last night close to the airport for your return. Buena Suerte! Others Call your travel agent, and book through GOGO Tours Start with cheap airfare....Check out sidestep.com. It allows you to search for the cheapest flight on many other sites simultaneously (sites like Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz, the airline sites, etc.). It does not cover Hotwire, so search that one separately. Good luck! The cheapest way to see it is stay off the tourist path...Eat at the local out of the way places and stay at the smaller locally owned hotels.......I've been here for over six months and I love it....I have a guy who can rent you a car... I also have a friend who has a hotel close to the airport for your first night stay.....He also offers tours.....The name of the hotel is The Airport Inn. His name is Larry Castillo....It will cost you less than $30 for a night....You can reach Larry at 506-441-7569 or 506-310-8449....Jason is the car guy you can reach him at 506-380-3278.....If you have any questions I'll be happy to help....Below is an e-mail for Larry and myself.....If you call these guys tell them James referred you....Don't forget it's an international call.... sol2j@costaricajames.com larrycastillo@hotmail.com |
