Travel Info What does Costa Rica primarily conists of? Travel Tips To me, it consists of some of the best birding in the world. In a couple of weeks, it is easy to see 300+ different birds including the famous Resplendent Quetzal There are active volcanoes--Volcan Arenal 5,300 ft. There is snorkeling and scuba diving--Cahuita NP There are beaches up and down both coasts. There are crocodiles--Carara NP There are the cloud forests--Monteverde being the most popular but Tapanti NP is also great. There are canopy tours--Braulio Carrillo NP. Rafting and mountain climbing Sloths, monkeys, coffee, beer, prostitute are legal. Costa Rica consists of mountains, beaches, coffee plantation, cattle ranches, tropical forests--Braulio Carrillo NP is a great example and cities--San Jose being the largest. During May to October it also consists of rain. Others BANDITS!! I went there for three weeks about a year ago so...if you mean geographically there's a volcano, cloud forests (like rain forests just not quite as much rain), really nice beaches (I particularly liked Playa Flamingo) If you mean in the towns and stuff it really depends on what area you're at. My favorite area was Monteverde, there it's just a lot of small shops and stuff, in Brasilito there's nice beaches but the town isn't that great...I went to study Spanish, if that's why you want to go CPI is a great school, there's one in Playa Flamingo, Monteverde, and Heredia. You can always contact me if you want to know more...I had to do a really long report on it before I went so I know a lot... my Costa Rica trip Modified 1 year ago pillagers and mexicans. the 6 different types of forests, nature, volcanoes, beaches, nice people (vamos ticos!), soccer (liga especially!) many things! oh.. and beer. |
