there is a really good school called Country Day School in escazu. there are also ais, mbs, lincoln, brit谩nica. cds is the best one by far! us calendar and 12 grades. you can take any tests like the ap, the sat (or psat), the toefl, the mep(for university in cr) and many many more! all the classes are in english except for spanish and if u take the mep exams you will have history in spanish too. the math is advanced for the us and is good.

I recently stayed in Costa Rica and found the high schools were excellent, my host sisters spoke fluent english.. and they took it in school since they were 8
