Anyone been to the Paradisus in Costa Rica? |
Travel Info Playa Conchal is located in the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica on the northern Pacific Coast. I am going there for my honeymoon in 10 days!!! What tips do you have? What are some fun activities on or off of the resort and how much do they cost? How much cash should we bring for activities? Travel Tips true what italian05 says. It`s a really nice hotel. There are many activities at the hotel, including snorkling (beach), kayaking (beach), 1 hr horseback riding,that sunset cruise, etc. All of these are included in your package. There are many other tours outside of the hotel. Like visiting an active volcano or white water rafting. Not sure how much they are, but probably $100-$200 per person... Just guessing though. Since most activities are arranged by the hotel, you probably can just use a credit card to pay for them, not cash. The only conflict I see is that while youre paying a decent amount of money for all the activities, food and facilities at the hotel, taking tours offsite add up to your bill... If you want to relax (without leaving the resort), you wont need much money (except if you wanna get a massage or spa session). If you want to take the other tours and stuff offsite, I`d say $500 additional(per person) should do the trick. P.S. In case you`re a golfer, golf is big at the resort. P.S. 2 VERY IMPORTANT: The resort has amazing restaurants for dinner. I mean, really good ones. They are included in your package, but make sure you make reservations 24hrs beforehand!!!! Other Travel Tips no but i wish i could go ITS BEAUTIFUL!! i have gone many times and i love it! it is an all-inclusive hotel, meaning that you pay the room and all the activities and food are included. there are MANY activities in the pool and out of it. i really reccomend you to go to the sunset boat ride (dont remember the name exactly) there are many restaurants (a snack bar, 5 restaurants, and a "buffet" for breakfast and dinner. you have to make a reservation for some activities and one of the 5 restaurants. you can also go see the shows at night, they are great!! for the extra money for activities as i said before it is all included in the price but you could take some extra money for the souvenirs, golf course, beach things (you will see when you get there), or SPA. you will get all the info at the main desk when you get there. the beach is beautiful, maybe one of the prettiest there! paradisus is one of the leading hotels of the world, and it better be. you are going to love it there! have fun and good luck! live in CR and absolutely LOVE conchal!! |
