Does anyone know of famous people associated with or are from Costa Rica? |

Claudia Poll-Gold medal at Olimpics (swimmer) Others I know one footballer called Paulo Wanchope- he plays for the national team. pink (the singer) came here and got married in the golfo de papagayo in the hotel four seasons and i was in the hotel in front of hers! and calvin ayre, this canadian billionaire lives really close to my house. then robin williams was in Nosara(a really pretty beach) in a yoga institute and i saw him at a restaurant called "la dolce vita". also the guy from laguna beach, jason, came here. the soccer player ronaldo fonseca sold us his car(a jeep) live in CR Modified 11 months ago Hi, Oscar Arias, the current president, is a Nobel Peace Prize Recipient. That makes him famous in my book. I would not think that just because someone visits Costa Rica makes them "associated" with the country. You gotta do more than that!
