I am wondering about the experience for a 15 year old girl to fly to the school and attend a soccer Spanish immersion camp and stay with a host family? She would be flying alone but picked up by the school staff. I would love to hear about any experiences with the school, especially for high school students going on their own.

if she really wants to and she decides to go, let her go. but remember, she is a teenager and she is leaving behind all her friends. costa rica is a very safe country and heredia is beautiful, so for that it is fine for her to go alone. i have never gone there to the CPI school tho. make sure she has some basic spanish at least so her life is easier. she will probably find many english-speaking people. no worries! good luck!
