It tends to be a little morre expensive than San Jose. I booked just last week--granted from the west coast to Costa --but after monitoring ALL the internet sites + checking with local and Costa Rican travel agencies (I do my homework) my very BEST deal was thru orbiz. They showed me ALL the flights on ALL the airlines that were available as well as offering me a variety of prices that included the taxes BTW-something that many sites & travel agents neglect to do when telling you your fares. Seems to me you'd have lots of variety / options being near the hub as you are... Suggestion...don't wait too long if you are serious about going...this oil BS that is going on is raising plane fuel as well as our gas pump prices. In the 5 weeks I monitored prices, they went up $54. Travel agent said they weren't going to come down in the near future either as peoiple are not yet ready/willing to give up their vacation plans...I sure wasn't... best of luck inb making your plans eelleeeellee Almost all the airlines, I think US Airways or United offers the Newark-Liberia Service. Did you know that you could find better deals traveling from Philadelphia instead of Newark. Visit travelocity.com, I found my ticket last month and I really had a nice experience The only way to get to San Jose, Costa Rica is going by The John F Keneddy Int'l Airport in New York; it has non-stop flight to San Jose via Taca #661 |
