I am going to Costa Rica in July and I want to book my first nights hotel before I leave. Suggestions? |
Travel Info I would like to stay at a place that is not really mainstream or expensive. A nice out of the way place for my wife and I is what I am looking for. Thanks for your help. Travel Tips If you plan to stay in san jose, bekuo hostel is the best choice. I was there a few months back.... http://www.hostelbekuo.com don't let the intro pic fool ya (that is actualy a pic of a mall near by, I guess to show their location), its a nice little hostel, very clean and nice enviroment, internet, pool table, etc. Very well located. And also if you come to CR and want to have a great time jump on the Party Bus. www.costaricapartybus.com It really depends what you want to see or do. Do you want to go to the Beach or the Rainforest or the Volcanoes or the Cloud Forests. You need to answer this question first. Here is a list of some good places to visit. - Monteverde (Cloud Forest in the Mountains... amazing) - Arenal Volcano (volcano that you can watch erupt daily) - Manuel Antonio (a National Park with some great hotels next to it) - Papagayo Gulf (Northern Pacific Coast peacefull beaches with some great resorts) - Tamarindo (a surf town that you can find some parties in) - Puerto Viejo (Caribbean rasta town with a great vibe) - San Jose (great place to do day trips like white water rafting, visiting the nearby volcanoes like Poas and Irazu) Well there are so many more places to see this is just a small sample. And I would suggest you book your hotel rooms ahead of time as they may get booked and you will not get the hotel you want.
