Anyone in Costa Rica sell cool necklaces? |
Travel Info You see beaded necklaces of all sorts in the "hip" stores but I was wondering if there is anywhere in San Juan, Costa Rica where I can find people selling their homemade necklaces and wares on the streets, or if it is much more regulated, and I need to go into a storefront. Travel Tips Yeah man, just go to Central Ave or in spanish Avenida Central and you will see people in the streets selling nice 100% Costa Rican made necklaces and wrist bands and cool jewelry made out of coco. Its very nice. PS: when you come check out the Party Bus dog, its the bomb. www.costaricapartybus.com Others I didn't know there was a San Juan, Costa Rica. Do you mean San Jose by chance? I'm still learning about the cities and Tico culture. Anyway, I hope to find a similar place when I go there, but for earrings b/c I miss the handmade earrings I used to always buy in Guadalajara, M茅xico. Anyway, you had answered my passport question and I think you kind of exaggerated my money issue. It wasn't that the $100 is so vital to my life that I can't live without it. Its the fact that I rather not waste money on something I'm sure I'd find and regret later. So, despite your concerns, I am not going to rethink living in Costa Rica just b/c I wanted to not waste $100. Which I did find!! REad below So, listen to this... I was on the phone with my mom just now all depressed about my passport. I asked her if I should just pay the $150 fee for the expidited one. We were talking about it all sad, then she goes: "I wish you could just be led to it" I had an overwhelming feeling to turn around, and open this wooden box of mine. I had looked there previously but hasn't looked in the box of cds. Well, this time, the first place my hand went to was to the cds. I reached right there and my passport was in my hands!! I started screaming and she thought I was hurt or something. I had found my passport!!! Wow... the angels sure whispered in her ear to tell me that and pushed my body to the box! That was really cool. I had started a novena to St.Anthony to find it and she said to continue it in devotion. :)!!! Esperanza everywhere! lol san jose,cartago,puntarenas,alajue... ,guanacaste,limon,and leveria! I go there every year lol :) im costa rican! haha :) Hey, im costa rican. you can find those anywhere! |
