Travel Tips In Costa Rica it is forbidden, but sure you will find some secluded beaches where you won't see anybody else during the whole day!! The only KNOWN nude beach is in Manuel Antonio ("Playitas") - still illegal though. But people enjoy it anyway - just be aware that you will find only gays at that beach, so be sure you don't have any trouble with that. Others All beaches in Costa Rica are Nude beaches. You just have to take off your swim suit and enjoy the sunshine. I sun my balls in Playa Del Carmen where the locals call me Gringo Cahonez I have been told that there are no legal nude beaches anywhere in Costa Rica.
