Rock-climbing in Costa Rica?

Travel Info
Does anyone know if they have places to do some serious rock-climbing in Costa Rica? I'm an adrenaline junkie so I want to do it freehand.

Travel Tips
Dude, I've been all over Costa Rica, serious rafting, and surfing, and zip-line canopy tours are the big things, but i also bungee jumped off a bridge in the middle of nowhere, it was very nice, not super huge though. As for rock climbing, no one ever spoke of it there, i'm sure there are a few spots, but i'm unaware, as there were so many other things to check out i didn't even think to find a spot to climb. There is a mountain there called Chirripo or something, and it was one of the few adventures i didn't take, but i heard it was a great trek, and that might have a spot to climb.

By the way, you're crazy, free climbing. The only place I've free climbed on natural terrain is on cliffs around Lake Travis in Austin where it you fell, you just fell into the water below, great fun.

If you're really that ballsy, then you need to go swim with the sharks up in the northwest of costa rica, known for it's scuba diving.

Also, on both coasts, there are SERIOUS waves there, and one set of em' almost got me for good.

Adrenaline will be found just traveling throught the country and experiencing all it's beauty, places, activities, food, people and culture, so finding a place to free climb hopefully will happen on it's own while you're enjoying everything else.

You could spend 6 months in costa rica and still not have visited all the places you'd want to experience, it's such a small country, but the terrain and transportation is so crazy, that it takes a long time to get around the country. The Carribean coast has it's own culture going on, with people speaking Patua there, some don't even speak Spainish, much less English.

yes i seen it
I haven't been in CR but you can find lots of info in www.rockclimbing.com, go to "find routes" then search by country, locations, etc.
Also, you can send personal messages to local people in CR if you become a member: search for people by country first, they can give you a detail info and some can tour you or even host you in their house for a couple of days, and of course definitely climb together.
