What are the best destinations in Costa Rica? |
Travel Info If you only had a week, what would you do, where would you go and what would you see? Travel Tips If you only had a week, I would spend it at the beach. Manuel Antonio National Park is a great place to go because it has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and it has an incredible forest that you can walk through. On the way to the park, there is another national park, Caracara, which is a forest, and I have heard it is beautiful. Source(s): I'm from there. Other Travel Tips go to map quest Go on a jungle train ride (goes to this great restaurant, on top of a hill with a view) Do a Calypso Cruise (just a small boat out to an island in the Pacific, man its gorgeous) and go white water rafting, above all else- you HAVE to do those three things. I spent a week in Costa Rica, and those three things were the most memorable ones! I would ove to go back, too! Look at http://www.lonelyplanet.com I'm going there at Christmas- can't wait! I'm told the Monteverde Cloud Forest is unmissable. I'd probably stay in San Jose and do tours to the surrounding forests from there. Alternatively go to an Eco-lodge to get away from it all.
