Has anyone been to Zancudo, Costa Rica? Are the bugs and crocs really dangerous?

Travel Tips
I have been to a place very close to Zancudo. You will be needing insect repellent if traveling during the rainy season.

Others
Zancudo is the Spanish word for mosquito, so the answer to your question is yes...and the bugs are hungry for tourist blood.
Crocs are in most rivers, near the mouths and estuaries, and get up to 12 or more feet long.
