Travel Info What degree is needed to be able to teach at a college or university level in Costa Rica? e.i UNED or UNA?
Travel Tips
It depends on the major/subject, but usually you need a Master's Degree. They will accept a "Licenciatura" degree (a degree that is higher than Bachelor's, granted in Latin American universities) in some cases. If it is to teach English as a Second Language and your native language in English, you may be accepted with a Bachelor's degree only. Private universities (UACA, ULATINA, etc.) are not as strict as state universities (UNED, UNA, UCR, ITCR) so if you don't have a Master's degree you may want to start there.
