Does costa rica have bad weather in June? |
Travel Info I might be studying abroad there and im interested about how green it will be. Travel Tips It will be the rainy season. If you are in the San Jose area or elsewhere in the highlands it will almost every afternoon. If you are there for a month you should expect 3-4 days of no rain and 3-4 days of non-stop rain and the rest of the time 1-4 hours of rain in the afternoon. If you are in the beach areas the rains are not as predictible but there will be a mixture of short rain storms interpersed by sun.. It is a nice time to go to Costa Rica however, it is pretty and not so hot. Source(s): I have spent every June in Costa Rica since 1998 for my job. It will rain every day but not all day it does it in intervals 20 minutes an hour it probably rains a lot It is rainy in many areas but usually just rains in the afternoon and that can be a nice break from the heat. I like June in CR because it isn't as crowded, things are less expensive than in the dry season, late Nov. through Feb. and everything is green and beautiful. |
