Travel Info How many islands are there on the atlantic coast of costa rica? name them? Travel Tips I only know Isla Uvita. There's must be a lot more of small islands around that area since there's plate divergence, but as for their names, I have to idea. edit// the Caribbean sea is part of the Atlantic ocean. The east coast of Costa Rica where the province of Limon is located is the Atlantic coast. In spanish is called "la costa Atlantica." Isla del Coco and Tortuguero aren't in the Atlantic Coast. Others of costa rica? none but all the islands of the caribbean... there are a lot! there is alot of islands in Costa Rica!!!!!!!!! For one, Costa Rica doesn't have an Atlantic coast. It has 2 coasts a Pacific and a Caribbean. The closest islands on the non Pacific side belong I guess to Nicaraugua to the north and they are the Corn Islands and, to the south are the Islas Bastimentos which belong to Panama Isla del Coco, Tortuguero...and don't remember more There are no Islands on the Caribbean(Atlantic ) side of Costa Rica. There are several on the Pacific but none on the East coast |
