Which is a better time to visit Costa Rica? |
Travel Info I have the oppertunity to study abroad in Costa rica for a whole month. The program gives two options. I can go Summer 1 which is 6/03 - 6/30. Or i can go summer 2 which is 7/08-8/04... Im gussing the later into the Summer i go the more green it will be there because of the rainy season. I will be staying in San Jos'e. Travel Tips Go in summer 2 it's better in July and August believe me, and San Jose is a beautiful city, good luck..鈽? Others SUMMER!! its beautiful wow! HOLD ON! no waaaay! DONT EVER COME IN JUNE, JULY, AUGUST.... ALL THE WAY TO MID-NOVEMBER!.... except if u want it to rain everyday, and u cant do anything! the best time to come is during december to march. those are the months that its sunny all the time. those programs dont seem to know much about costa rica... summer 1 is a little better but for 5 days only that is called "veranillo de san juan" which are 5 days of no rain. the rest is terrible weather. i suggest not to use those summer plans, no offense.. sry :S and yes, it will be greener, but it will be still pouring and the weather will make you cry. hope i helped! :-D lived in costa rica for more than 10 years... i know the weather Oh my goodness! You are so lucky! I have been trying to study abroad for a long time. I have yet to convince my parents. Go during any season. I have been there during both seasons, and they are both amazing! I hope you have a great time! I know you will never forget this amazing trip. Italian05 is completely correct. Either of those sessions it will rainy every day unless you are very lucky. Sometimes Costa Rica has an "Indian Summer" with no rain at the end of June. Go for the first session. It will be green in San Jose no matter what. The rain can be nice and many times is only in the afternoon so have fun with it. It shouldn't ruin your trip! I this days is good prices and the weather is not to bad |
