Travel Info Want to know the distance from San Jose costa rica to Nosara costa rica. Is there an airport closer to Nosara? Travel Tips the distance... it doesnt matter! :-D its kinda funny tho. people actually ask for the time because the roads are terrible! the distance is not that long, but the roads will slow you down. the time is about 4 hours if you pass by the "puente de la amistad", the other way through liberia i never take it so i wouldnt know. and yes! there is an airport in nosara and another one in liberia. the one in liberia has more flights but you will need to rent a car or use a taxi and the time left will be like.. 1-2 hours. the flight that gets to nosara is only a few times a day, but you will be inside nosara already. playa guiones (in nosara) is great for surfing and san juanillo (another beach) sometimes has A LOT of tents, other times it doesnt, but it has great coral reefs. ostional is before san juanillo if you are coming from nosara, it is a black beach, very dangerous and you cant swim there, but when you are there, you can ask the people and they will tell you when turtles go there and lay their eggs or when baby turtles are born. that is a unique experience so i advise you to really ask the people when turtles are there. There's a landing strip in Nosara, and the ticket will cost you $160 RT. The flight is about 35 minutes |
