Transportation from San Jose, Costa Rica, to Caldera? |
Travel Info I'm wondering if anyone knows the best way to get from San Jose to Caldera. I'll be traveling by myself with luggage. Also, I have three full days to spend in Costa Rica before I have to be in Caldera. Any advice for such a short time? Are there any areas near Calder that would be good to stay at, especially for a lone traveler? Thanks Travel Tips You can go by bus (cheap, confortable and fast) from Puerto Caldera to San Jose (its less than 4 hours). Or go around the beaches. Here is a link you can check. Ask anyone there for a Travel Agency called OTEC, they may help you if you want something different.
