How can i find somebody in costa rica?

my boyfriend is costa rican but he hasnt been to costa rica since he was a child.... he doesnt have any chance to meet his dad... is there any way or an agency or program that can help us to locate his father in costa rica?

If he knows his dad's name and last name, he could place an ad in La Nacion, the most widely read newspaper in Costa Rica. Maybe his dad will see it, or somebody who knows him, and your boyfriend will get a reply.
