Is travel to Costa Rica in June reasonable? i.e. the rainy season? |
Travel Info I would really like to visit Costa Rica in June. This is the beginning of the summer "wet season". Would this be a mistake or can a good time be had? Thanks!!! Travel Tips I went to Costa Rica in June of 2002 and it was beautiful there. The only issue I had with the weather was on one of the tours to see a volcano it was too foggy to actually see the volcano. I loved it there though. I would also suggest checking out Turtle Island while there...it is beautiful!! Others All time of the year in Costa Rica it is good to be visited because Costa Rica has an excellent Natural beauty much and that to offer. Not a mistake at all ! ! ! Hotel rates are lower, less tourists. The rain is nice, it keeps it cooler & green. You can pretty much know what time of day it will rain, usually for 1-2 hours same time each day. You just plan your day around that. I have lived in Costa Rica for 13 yrs. |
