Costa Rica rainforest vacation? |
Travel Info My girlfriend and I were interested in going to Costa Rica to see the rainforest and I have a few questions: 1 What towns (or areas) are known for having a beautiful, lush jungle (that can safely be ventured by tourists)? 2 Are there any hotels that are actually IN the canopy, kind of like a modified treehouse? Travel Tips I highly recommend you check out Luna Lodge: http://lunalodge.com/ Located on the southern most edge of the Osa Peninsular, close to Carate, the lodge is set into mountainside rainforest that ends at the beach. The Osa is the most remote and unspoiled region of Costa Rica and home to thousands of animal and plant species not found anywhere else in Costa Rica. The lodge itself is a beautiful and peaceful retreat with a large ranch house, several palm thatched bungalows and amazing tented accommodations on its upper most ridge. Other Travel Tips i went 2 years ago. beautiful we did a surfing trip. stayed on a boat 4 3 days we stayed at harbor reef and we also stayed at rip jacks. don't ever let your luggage out of your sight in public. bad idea.but over all i wanna go back its also good if u know Spanish.
