When is the best time to travel to Costa Rica if we want to see lots of wildlife?

Travel Tips
The rainy season lasts from May until September generally. The rain during this season typically begins mid-afternoon and lasts for several hours, so you would have most of the morning and early afternoon to go sightseeing without being rained on, and the fauna would certainly be in full bloom. The problem that exists however is that often times the rain will cause some roads to close down, as they can no longer be traveled on in a vehicle. This means that access to some sites is going to be limited. I personally would go in the dry season. There will be plenty of things to see and do, and you will still get to see alot of wildlife. If you like hot temperatures, April is the hottest month there, with September following close behind. If you would like milder temps. you should avoid those months. Good luck!
