Is this a reasonable, exciting 14 day itinerary for my Costa Rica trip? |
Travel Info My girlfriend and I are flying into Costa Rica on March for 15 days. Would the following be a good itinerary? ANY suggestions you have to make this better is much appreciated! Below each destination are notes and the hotel I looking to stay at, in case you have opinions on those=) Thanks! Day 1-Alajuela *Hotel Los Volcananes Day 2-Arenal Volcano *Hotel Sierra Arenal *Tabacon Hot Springs($58) Day 3-Monte Verde *Arcoiris Lodge Day 4-Monte Verde Zip line tours *Arcoiris Lodge Day 5-Monteverde/Potrero/Brasilito *Hotel Brasilito Day 6- Brasilito *Hotel Brasilito Day 7- Playa Taramindo/Playa Grande * Hotel Las Tortugas Day 8- Playa Grande *Hotel Las Tortugas Day 9-Playa Grande/Playa Samara * Casa Valeria Day 10-Playa San Miguel/Playa Coyote * The Blue Pelican Inn Day 11-Playa San Miguel/Playa Coyote * The Blue Pelican Inn Day 12-Montezuma *Amor De Mar ($55) Day 13-Montezuma * Take a day tour to Isla Tortuga * Aurora Hotel Travel Tips Sounds like a great trip. Well planned out. Most of the hotels I am not familiar with. Definitly do the Tabacon Hot Springs...so worth it!!! Have fun! Others You will love hotel las tortugas. My only recommendation is to not try to go so far and move around so much. At the end you will feel like you spent all of your time moving around and you may miss out on the unique opportunities to meet some great people.
