Has anyone stayed at Casta Caletas in Guanacaste, Costa Rica? |
Travel Info would love to know what you think of it - we're thinking of booking it for our honeymoon in July. Travel Tips Hi! I didn't stayed there but I visited it! I can tell you that I prefered where I stayed very closed to it: "La Casa de tia Cai" it's a private villa on the beach (Casa Caletas is NOT on the beach but face to a river) besides the house it's much cheaper, it has 8 bedrooms but as it is not a real hotel but a private house, you will probably be alone! The rooms are great with AC and a big bathroom, it has a beautiful swimming pool w/jacuzzi, they have a maid who can cook for you, they can take you snorkeling and some other tours, it depends on what you want to do they can arrange it, even massages, transportation from/to airport in Liberia and so on... they are a couple (mid 60's I'd say) but don't have website yet. If you are interested you can contact me and I'll give you other details and pictures of the house as well. I can contact them by email and ask them to contact you directly. I am a "tica" (costarican) who lives in Italy and we just spent a great vacation in this beautifull house! Hope you'll enjoy your honeymoon in my wonderful country! :-) Bluemorpho67@yahoo.it Others its very nice lovely views. personally i prefer Punta Islita and dont stay there for your whole trip, Costa Rica is a small country with a lot to see. i recommend you spend 3 nights in Drake Bay or a couple of nights at Arenal Volcano near the town of La Fortuna. http://costa-rica.typepad.com/costa_rica... |
