Travel Info Is there a cheap bus I could take from Tamarindo to Arenal and from Arenal to Tortuguero in Costa Rica? Travel Tips From Tamarindo you can take a bus to either Liberia or Canas (San Jose is another option) and then to La Fortuna. You can't get to Tortugero by land and there are few public boats. You can get to Moin via San Jose.. You could also get there via Ciudad Quesada, Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, Guapiles etc. but much more complicated.
