Which of these places is best to live for 6 months with a 5 year old and a 2 year old? |
Travel Info Costa Rica,Nicaragua,Mexico, we like to be by the cost, and if you have any suggustion on a really good place to stay, that would be wonderful. Travel Tips i live in costa rica, a town to be near the coast with children, is puntarenas city. is a nice place to be. is not that party thing city but helps you a lot, is a calm town with beautiful sunsets that you can enjoy with your children. if you come during the month of february, you can enjoy the carnival. puntarenas city is about 1 1/2 hour away from the san jose airport. from puntarenas you can travel easily any beach in the pacific... something smaller is montezuma town. not that big but is great. you need to take the ferry from puntarenas city to the nicoya peninsula and about an hour driving. has rivers with waterfalls, the beach is great, and that town has everything. a supermarket, bars, stores... is fun but i recommend puntarenas cuz is away from the stress and is easy to go around Source(s): www.puntarenas.com/puntarenas/... Other Travel Tips When I lived in Costa Rica I lived in Alajuela, it's close to really good schools, but 4 hours away from the beach. Alajuela had nice people, good food, and it was easy to find my way around on bus. If good schooling is a concern, I doubt you'll find a great education near the beach towns in CR, only in the city. The closest beach to the city is a 2 hour drive. |
