Is there anywhere to stay in costa rico withought having to drive 5 hours to all the attractions??? Family of 3

i don't really know what you mean about all attractions cuz everywhere here in costa rica we have our unique stuff. every little town, beach, volcanoes, national parks... i live near the airport, from here to la fortuna(arenal volcano) is about 2 1/2 hr, to poas is 45 min, to jaco beach is 1 1/2 hr, for rafting is 1 1/2 hr, to monteverde is about 3 1/2 hr, at pozo azul you can do lots of stuff(canopy, rafting, horseback riding...) is about 1 1/2 hr. i don't know how long you are going to stay but there is a place also called montezuma, is a small town on the beach, has 2 rivers with waterfalls, you can do lots of things there and the budget is reasonable. anywhere you go you'll enjoy it...
