I'm going to Guanacaste, Costa Rica in late June. What are some places of interest? |
Travel Info I am looking for some places/cites to visit in Guanacaste. What are some suggestions? Travel Tips Liberia. Santa Cruz. Tamarindo, Flamingo, Playa Grande, Volc谩n Rincon de la Vieja. Others Despite being a very beautiful and exotic part of Costa Rica - other than some beautiful beaches like Tamarindo Beach on the Pacific, and a lot of Coffee Plantations, and small quaint Costa Rican cities that are really laid back - there is really not too much else to see in Guanacaste province like there are in other Costa Rican provinces. However there are some "River Boat Tours" along the coast that take you up the rivers to see the various animals that live there along with the beautiful Jungle scenery that surrounds these rivers. a realist and a Tico at heart! Visit Rincon de la Vieja, Bagaces Waterfall- its free- the beaches of Guanacaste are amonst the best in Costa Rica. My faves are Playa Hermosa, Ocotal, Conchal, Matapalo.
