Are there travel alerts for costa rica? |
Travel Info we are planning a trip to costa rica and want to know of any dangers for tourists while traveling there. Travel Tips Although there are no travel alerts for Costa Rica, here's what the American Embassy in Costa Rica recommends: http://www.usembassy.or.cr/uscitizen.htm... Source(s): Costa Rican living in the U.S. Other Travel Tips Yes, watch out for the mutant bananas that come to life and eat babies. stay away from san jose as much as possible. is like any other big city around the world... when you are outside san jose don't leave luggage or personal items out of site. the rest, just enjoy and have a good trip. take care' anything else... just ask As a Costa Rican I鈥檓 afraid to recognized that is not safe to go out at night in San Jose or any main town, also do not leave any values on your car, there are some people that like specifically to still American passports since they have certain value at the 鈥渂lack market鈥? I lived in San Jose, Costa Rica for awhile a few years ago. I found it to be a very nice place to live and never had any problems while I was there. Currently there are not any travel alerts for Costa Rica. I included a link to the US Department of State website with information about Costa Rica for you. This is very informative and should help you to make a decision. I would not be scared to go to any part of Costa Rica. Simply take precautions like you would no matter where you travel. Even within the US you could become a victim of crime. Common sense is the best tool you can use. Have fun - Que tenga un buen viaje! :) |
