Calling the US from Costa Rica? |
Travel Info Does anyone know of a prepaid phone that we could buy here in the US or in Costa Rica that could call back to the US? Travel Tips ICE is the phone company here. I do not know of any prepaid phones that work in Costa Rica. However you can purchase a phone card here to call the States. It is cheap and works on all the phones in Costa Rica. Others An option would be to open an account with Skype (www.skype.com) and get the "skype out" service (it's prepaid) and then you can call computer to phone (you can go to an internet cafe) or if the person on the other end has skype on his/her computer, you can call computer to computer for free. It's very cheap! That's what I use to call from CR to the US and viceversa. |
