There always a part, where the girl dances first with her dad and then with a date. The dress is usually pink and there's cake, a DJ, all relatives and friends attending. It's like the official date when a girl is considered a woman. In Costa Rica there are quincea帽eros but nowadays, girls usually ask for a trip abroad instead of a huge party. Others Yes they do , like most Latin american countries Hispanic yes... why? yes ....cake, mariachis, gifts etc yes, it is one of the most special occasions, they usually throw big parties. hahahah I am costa rican and yeah some people specially from rural areas celebrate it. I didnt celebrate it LOL , thats an old fashion custom!!! Girls celebrate their 15th or 16th offering a big party or visiting another country, some ask their parents for a cosmetic surguerie or some $$$ and others for a car but they cant drive it until they get 18 y.o |
