What is the best cruise for adults that leaves out of Galveston Texas? |
Travel Info We prefer the more casual type - not much on formal wear. Travel Tips I would recommend Royal Caribbean. We cruise every year & have done both Carnival & Royal out of Galveston. The carnival was fun but in no way compares to the Royal line. The ships are cleaner & more up to date and the food is so much better. You don't have to dress up of the 'formal night'. Not everybody does. There are more places to eat than just the dining room. Entertainment is better too. But I can only say to go & make your own decesion & have a great time! Others Carnival if you want to PARTY! One thing to do when leaving from port is stand at the front of the ship watch the drunks come running back and falling down to get to the ship on time. Depending on how long of a cruise you take there is one or two formal day's on the ship you are not required to dress up. You just can't meet the Capt. and you can't eat in the formal dinning hall. No problem there is an all you can eat buffet on the ship. The food is pretty good so have lots of fun! I went in Oct of 2004. Modified 1 year ago |
