How much to budget for a three day cruise to cozumel? |
Travel Info I am going on a cruise to cozumel in May and I am trying to figure out how much to budget for. The cruise itself is already paid for. What is the average cost for the onshore daytrips? What is the price for beer on the ship? Tips? Anything else? Travel Tips You will nedd to tip the waiter, bus, room stewart and Matr'd for a total of about $12 to 15 a day, more if you want. Drink prices will probably be average of $3.50 for beer and $4.00 for wine, more for mixed drinks. You need to take money for gifts and sundries. Don't take a tour of Cozumel, there not much to see. Most of the activity there is scuba, snorkel, jet ski, parasail. Each of those could run you about $25 or so. Then there is shopping. Most of all, depends on what you want to do vs what's available.
